How To Contact Your Ex After A Break Up

September 3rd, 2010 admin No comments

It’s not always easy to get your ex back and one of the hardest parts is actually contacting them for the first time after the break up. People often contact their ex in the wrong way and make the situation worse. The best approach is a subtle and slow one. To begin with give them space and leave it a few weeks before contacting them.

This will hopefully be enough time for any ghosts and animosity between the two of you to pass over. When the time comes to make contact with them a simple text message or email is enough. People often miss or don’t read emails so I think a text message would be better. The problem with emails is that most people don’t check them as often as they check their phone, plus legitimate emails can be lost amongst spam emails.

Just ask them how they are in the message, keep it simple and don’t put any pressure on them. If they reply then great, just see how things go and then eventually ask them if they would like to meet up for a catch up chat. If they don’t answer then leave it for a few days and then send them another message. You will look desperate and needy if start bombarding your ex with too many messages.

Some people have a knee jerk reaction when they don’t get a response within the first hour and send a load more messages. If your ex comes back to their phone and finds one message from you it’s enough to tell them that you’re still interested. If they find lots of messages from you it tells them you’re desperate.

If after a week you still aren’t hearing anything then you need to try and ring them. This should be the final attempt at getting in touch with them. If you don’t get hold of them and they don’t call back then you should take the hint that they’re avoiding you and move on gracefully. Not every relationship can be saved and while it’s not a nice to go through it’s something that you will just have to learn to live with.

Magical Mallorca Holidays

September 2nd, 2010 admin No comments

Mallorca – or Majorca – is the largest of the four Balearic Islands, which are located in the Mediterranean off the southern coast of Spain. And adminstratively fall within the autonomous region of Catalonia. Like the other islands in the group such as Ibiza and Menorca, Mallorca is located around a two and half hour flight from the UK. With flights to the island available with most of the leading budget airlines such as easyJet.

During the 1980?s some parts of the island, most notably Magaluf, acquired something of a downmarket reputation. Thanks largely to the antics of Club 18-30 type holidaymakers from the UK. However that has all changed today and the island has become a much favoured hot spot of the rich and famous. Welcoming VIP visitors such as Michael Douglas and Catharine Zeta Jones. With the north of the island and areas such as Pollensa and Alcudia particularly popular with the more discerning independent traveller.

Many of these tourists tend to book villas in Majorca for their summer break on the island. And there is a fantastic range of good quality rental properties available. Many of them built in the traditional Mallorquin style using the local sand coloured stone. And offering high levels of luxury. Majorca Villas can be booked locally or through a reputable agent, but the best go quickly so don’t leave your booking to late.

Palma is the capital of Mallorca as well as of the Balearic Islands – and this is also where the international airport, known locally as Son Sant Joan, is located. Palma is home to around 400,000 local residents as well as a fine selection of architectural treasures, most notably the Le Seu Cathedral, which was built on the site of a former Mosque in the 13th century – although it wasn’t finally finished until six hundred years later. When famous local architect Antoni Gaudi was drafted in to help complete the project.

The peak holiday season on Mallorca runs from July through until September – when visitors can expect to enjoy temperatures in the 30?s Celsius. However the island is also popular out of season too and makes a great location for a break in both Spring and Autumn. When the temperatures still climb well into the 20?s.
